In 1999, Shred-X began operations in the paper recovery industry, so delivering circular economy solutions has long been a focus for us. Today, our commitment to environmental preservation remains steadfast. We continue to seek innovative processing, recycling and repurposing avenues to support our business operating in an environmentally responsible manner.

Paper/ Document Destruction: Shred-X collects and processes approximately 47,000 tonnes of paper per annum through our facilities, which is reused and recycled by our recycling partners. By partnering with Shred-X, your organisation is contributing to the recycling and diversion of waste paper from landfill. According to environmentalpaper.org for every tonne of paper recovered, 2.48 tonnes of carbon emissions are saved.

E-Waste/ITAD Solutions: Shred-X provide a suite of customised e-Waste & IT Asset Disposition Solutions designed to protect, and keep your confidential data secure. Once the destruction process or data sanitising is complete, we work with our local recycling partners to recycle separate components such as plastic, glass and precious metals into other commodities and products, keeping these items out of landfill where they can leak toxins into the environment. Additionally, we offer repurposing solutions for approved e-Waste items, giving them a second life.

Uniforms & Textile Recycling/Repurposing: Already an industry leader in the secure destruction of uniforms and branded textiles, Shred-X launched TEXTURA, our secure textile logistics and recycling solutions division to address the growth of textile waste in Australia. We offer our clients a convenient connection to landfill diversion solutions including customised options for items requiring secure destruction.
