Shred-X Document Destruction is a publicly listed company providing confidential document shredding and destruction services to thousands of clients throughout Australia and New Zealand. In addition to providing secure document destruction, document shredding and data destruction services Shred-X Document Destruction also offers paper recycling services allowing your organisation to reduce its carbon footprint.

All Shred-X facilities, equipment and vehicles comply with federally mandated guidelines and all employees are security-bonded and police checked. Shred-X Document Destruction is a Quality Assured company to ISO 9001:2000 standards.

As a member of key industry bodies including the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), the Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL) and the Records Management Association of Australia (RMAA) Shred-X Document Destruction always remains abreast of all industry and legislative changes and requirements. 

 Company Profile

Shred-X Document Destruction was founded by Nick Karos. Nick has owned and operated successful businesses in the service industry including Pioneer Plasterboard Group for more than 25 years.

From there he established Australian Paper Recycling which now services more than 15,000 businesses Australia-wide. With changes to Federal Privacy Laws, Mr Karos identified the need for a more secure, professional and competitive Document Destruction organisation that could offer this secure service nationwide.

Shred-X Document Destruction provides confidential document destruction, shredding and paper recycling services throughout Australia in each state and territory.

Shred-X Document Destruction's head office and main operations are located in the state of Queensland with an additional state of the art destruction and processing facility located in Melbourne, Victoria.

Recently Shred-X Document Destruction has purchased a number of document destruction and paper recycling companies including Document Destruction and Paper Recyclers, Australian Mobile Shredding, Victorian Paper Recycling and Fine Paper Recyclers. By doing this, Shred-X Document Destruction has increased and strengthened their resource and industry capabilities Australia wide.
