NAID AAA with PSPF endorsement
The International Secure Information Governance & Management Association™(i-SIGMA®) is the industry trade association for secure data destruction and records & information management service providers. i-SIGMA enforces standards and ethical compliance and currently maintains the most rigorous and widely accepted data-security vendor-compliance certifications, NAID AAA Certification® and PRISM Privacy + Certification.®
Shred-X is proud to be a founding member of i-SIGMA (in the Australasian region) and is endorsed by the Australian Government’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) for sensitive and high security destruction.
i-SIGMA ANZ’s mission is to protect Australian business and consumers from the misuse of sensitive information, and seeks to raise awareness about the importance of properly destroying discarded information, both paper-based and electronic.

Shred-X is the ONLY secure destruction company with eleven (11) NAID AAA certified sites in every state of Australia & a company-owned secure destruction facility endorsed to the Australian government’s PSPF standards.
NAID AAA certification auditors verify that protocols are in place to ensure the security of confidential material throughout all stages of the destruction process such as handling, transporting, storing materials prior to destruction, and destroying and disposing of materials responsibly. The policies and procedures of document destruction providers are further scrutinised with a comprehensive program of scheduled and unannounced audits.
