• Free service to the community to help people destroy household papers/data
• Great chance for some local media coverage

Outcomes

• Newspaper coverage in Geelong Advertiser – Largest paper in the Region (below)
• Radio coverage in the form of ‘community announcements’ in the lead up.
• Strong support from the City of Greater Geelong council including signage (below)
• Strong support also from the Chamber of Commerce, Central Geelong Marketing and existing customers.
• Social media sites were also used to promote the event
